According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Walt Jocketty, erstwhile mastermind behind the 2004 MV3 Cardinals, has offered Jason Isringhausen a chance to pitch with the Reds.
The Reds offered right-hander Jason Isringhausen a contract after seeing him pitch today at Great American.
"We're waiting to hear back from his agent to see what he wants to do," Walt Jocketty said. "We'll know in next day or so."
Isringhausen was impressive in his session. But he'll need time to get ready.
Isringhausen had elbow surgery last season after making nine appearances for the Tampa Bay Rays.

cardinals acquire a mediocre right-handed starter who once went 11-10 with a 4.50 ERA
for a player to be named later, who is a reliever we kind of like in Springfield.
