A Proposition, From Blog Editor To Blog Reader

Friends,

↵

If you’re willing to forget this game ever happened, I’m willing to never write about it again after this blog entry.

↵

Why? Ghosts.

↵

No, no, I’m sorry. Because it’s the worst relief meltdown I’ve ever seen. (Easy mistake.) If you’re into Win Probability metrics, know this: Ryan Franklin was apparently worth -0.99 wins. I’m not sure it’s possible to be more directly responsible for a loss than that.

↵

This is what’s good about baseball: Documentaries will not be made about this game. They’ll play again tomorrow.

↵

Anyway, mull it over; in the meantime, as a provisional measure, I will not write anything about this game ever again.
