The Sam Bradford revolution was not televised live last night, so this is only guesswork, but I can't imagine the Rams' 28-7 drubbing at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings looked any better in person.
There was, at least, this: Sam Bradford looked better than any of the other quarterbacks the Rams trotted out last night. You heard it here: Bradford is definitely a better quarterback than Keith Null, and while I'll need to see him a few more times I'm willing to guess that he's probably better than Thaddeus Lewis.
But they might as well throw Thaddeus Lewis back behind center if the offensive line is going to be that porous. Per Turf Show Times,
I honestly can't remember a Rams O-Line that played that poorly in my 27 years of Rams fan realm. Jason Smith really struggled. And what's with the O-Line shuffle? Fraley at Center? Jason Brown at LG? Huh?! Hopefully things will get better as the preseason progresses.
But hey, George Selvie! A sack and a forced fumble isn't a bad start for a seventh round pick. Take as much joy as possible from the small things; when you lose 28-7, that's all that went right.
