NFL Injuries: Michael Hoomanawanui Has "Significant" High-Ankle Sprain

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Rams could be without rookie tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, who suffered a high-ankle sprain in week one's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams' official Twitter reports that no timetable has been set for his return.

Hoomanawanui, a fifth rounder in the 2010 NFL Draft, caught one pass for eight yards before leaving last Sunday's game. Turf Show Times has more on his and other injuries from week one.
