The Rams will have to overcome a number of injuries to score their first divisional victory of the season.

Prior to the start of the 2011 season, many expected this late season battle between the Rams and Cardinals to decide which team would represent the NFC West in the playoffs. But the upstart Rams have taken a step backwards this season, and the acquisition of QB Kevin Kolb hasn't propelled the Cardinals to sudden success, and so the two teams' Week 12 match up will instead help decide which team will stay out of the division's basement.

Kolb, who has missed two straight games for the Cardinals, is expected to start on Sunday, despite being listed as questionable in this week's injury report. Rams' QB Sam Bradford meanwhile may be lucky to escape the game without injury, as both starting tackles (Rodger Saffold and Jason Smith) have been placed on injured reserve and back up tackle Mark LeVoir will miss 2-4 weeks with a strained pectoral. That's to say nothing of the Rams' injury situation on defense, where they have now lost 10— yes, 10— cornerbacks for the season. That's basically 1/5 of an entire team... at one position group. Larry Fitzgerald must be licking his lips.
