Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that Brett Hull, he of the numerous hall of fame/statues/number retirement nights, is interested in becoming part of minority owner Tom Stillman’s group. Stillman’s group, if you remember, has been interested in purchasing the team for quite some time but has also been offering significantly less than what the franchise is worth.
Hull coming out and saying he wants to be part of Stillman’s group means one of two things: the deal isn’t done yet regarding Matthew Hulsizer’s purchase, or Hull doesn’t know/care. Regardless, Hull has been team-less since the ownership issues around the Dallas Stars have been resolved, and many Blues fans would love to see him involved in some capacity with the team most associate him with.
