Week 17 NFL Picks: AOL Sporting News Has Rams Losing In A Blowout Finale

The San Francisco 49ers are desperately fighting to earn a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs, while the St. Louis Rams are just plain desperate. Experts around the league can't find a good reason to pick the Rams to win, and how you can add another to the pile. Vinnie Iyer of AOL Sporting News has released picks for Week 17 in the NFL, and he believes the Rams will finish out the season the victim of an embarrassing blowout loss:

The 49ers showed their fight in Seattle last week, and they'll be very businesslike in another division road game they should dominate. For all the efforts they've put into the big turnaround under Jim Harbaugh, they're not about to let the NFC's No. 2 seed slip away. You can expect one Ram to go full tilt-running back Steven Jackson-while the others are just waiting for the imminent regime change. The goal will be to avoid a shutout sweep vs. San Francisco in front of the home fans. 49ers 30, Rams 3.

Iyer is 160-80 for the season-to-date and went 12-4 straight up in Week 16.
