Cameron Maybin Slags Panda Express, Padres Owner

There are at least two things I love about this story—center field prospects who didn't turn out as well as Colby Rasmus, and Panda Express. When you add in inadvertently dogging a guy who pays some fraction of your salary—well, I thank San Diego Padres SB Nationers Gaslamp Ball for running with this case of Cameron Maybin-bites-dog.

To summarize—Cameron Maybin, new Padre and former Colby Rasmus competitor for Official Center Field Prospect of the 2005 Draft, apparently ate at a Panda Express recently. Maybe he's new in town and trying something new; maybe he just reported to Spring Training and had a time crunch. The end result is that he experienced some serious digestive problems, which led him to tell his 4000 Twitter followers to "Never eat panda express."

Panda Express owner Tom Davin just happens to be a part of the San Diego Padres' ownership group. I can only hope this becomes a commercial, maybe about the tension between this position and Maybin's expressed ambivalence toward snitching.
