The big news for the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 is that star middle linebacker Patrick Willis is active on Sunday for the first time since December 4, providing him a week to tune up before the team heads into the NFC playoffs. On the offensive side of the ball, though, the Niners will be shorthanded, with wide receiver and punt returner Ted Ginn Jr. listed as inactive alongside fellow WR Kyle Williams. The Niners will also be without tight end Delanie Walker.
