Temple Vs. Saint Louis Preview: Billikens Look To Knock Off Owls

The Saint Louis Billikens are hosting the Temple Owls on Wednesday night in a match-up of Atlantic 10 conference rivals. The Billikens are trying to further bury the Owls into the conference standings, as Temple is currently 0-1 against Atlantic 10 opponents after losing to Dayton last week.

Dayton also beat Saint Louis last week as well, so both teams are essentially looking to right the ship and build some momentum. The Billikens are coming off a strong 78-56 victory over George Washington, but they're sure to be challenged by a Temple team that's done some pretty impressive things this year.

Most notably, the Owls upset the then-No. 3 Duke Blue Devils on Jan. 4 in front of a national audience. That victory put Temple back on the map, but it followed up the marquee win with a disappointing home defeat to Dayton. With the expected conference favorites, Xavier, having some issues, this could a conference that's ripe for the taking.
