St. Louis has two games on the schedule this week.
The St. Louis Billikens' feel-good season took an unexpected tumble last week when coach Rick Majerus' squad fell 72-58 to UMass on the road on Saturday. St. Louis shot only 23-of-67 from the field (34 percent). The loss dropped St. Louis to 16-5 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic-10.
This week St. Louis has two games lined up. Let's take a look:
Wednesday February 1: Vs. St. Bonaventure
The Bonnies are on a bit of a roll at the moment, with four wins in their last five games. St. Bonaventure enters 12-7 overall and are first in the Atlantic-10 with a record of 5-2. The Bonnies are led by senior forward Andrew Nicholson, who averages 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Saturday February 4: @ Dayton
The Flyers have dropped two of their last three games, but defeated St. Louis 79-72 in overtime on January 4. Dayton is led by Chicago product Kevin Dillard, who enters as the team's top scorer with an average of 12.6 points per game. Senior forward Brian Conklin is the Billikens' leading scorer at 14.7 points per game.
