Selection Sunday 2012: Time, TV Schedule And More

The Saint Louis Billikens will hope for a favorable bracket when the 68-team field is announced on Sunday

Ever since Rick Majerus took over as the head coach at Saint Louis, there was a hope that he might be able to restore the the once proud program. While it has taken a couple of years, Majerus has elevated the Billikens to an NCAA Tournament program, as the only thing Saint Louis will be watching for on Sunday is its seed and opponent.

The Billikens turnaround has been led by a resurgence on the defensive end of the court. The Billikens allow the 7th fewest points per game in the nation. The state of Missouri will also be represented by the Missouri Tigers in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers will likely be a No. 1 or No. 2 seed depending on the results of other games.

Creighton clinched a spot in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. They will be joined by Wichita St., who put together an impressive regular season, but lost in the semifinal round.

Time/Date: 5:00 p.m. (CST)/ Sunday, March 11, 2012

TV: CBS

Announcers: Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony and Seth Davis
