The 2012 Missouri Valley Conference tournament has advanced to the semifinal round, and the the matchups feature the top four seeds from Arch Madness. The top-seeded Wichita State Shockers take on the No. 4 seed Illinois State Red Birds in the first matchup on Saturday afternoon. The day wraps up with an intriguing game between the second-seeded Creighton Bluejays and the No. 3 seed Evansville Aces.

Creighton knocked off the Drake Bulldogs thanks to 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting and nine rebounds from Doug McDermott, while Evansville dispatched the Missouri State Bears 72-64. The winners of the two semifinal matchups will meet on Sunday afternoon in St. Louis for the final.
