The St. Louis Billikens are not only trying to capture an Atlantic-10 Tournament title this weekend, they're also trying to solidify (or guarantee) a bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Billikens are by most accounts solidly in the field as of Friday morning, but it certainly won't hurt to keep winning.
And so far so good in their quarterfinal round game against La Salle -- the Billikens are up 35-29 at halftime.

St. Louis was 13-29 from the field in the first half, including 5-12 from beyond the arc. The Billikens also out-rebounded the Explorers, though they've had issues with ball security.
Kwamain Mitchell leads SLU with 14 points.
