Sarah Finnegan is off to London as an alternate on the women's gymnastics team.
Sarah Finnegan is a member of the U.S. women's gymnastics team at just 15 years old -- she is the youngest member of the squad, which includes one other 15 year old -- and she'll serve as an alternate in London.

Finnegan, who lived in St. Louis before moving with her family to Kansas City to continue her training, is--not surprisingly--very happy to be given an opportunity to join the team in London:
"You'd like to be one of the five" main team members, [Finnegan] said. "But being an alternate is still a great honor, a blessing."
The women's gymnastics events get underway on Sunday, July 29 and continue over the following week. NBC will have extensive coverage throughout.
