Carl Pettersson is the leader in the clubhouse following the first round of the 2012 PGA Championship. The Swede shot a six-under 66, which was enough to give him a one-stroke lead over a group of golfers tied for second.

Rory McIlroy is in the group of golfers at five-under, while Graeme McDowell, John Daly and Adam Scott are among a big logjam at -4.
Tiger Woods finished Thursday at -3, but some other notables did not have a good day. Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson finished at one over par, while Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood finished at +3
