The NFL Draft is just three days away, and mock drafts are starting to become finalized. Who will the Rams take in this version?

The 2013 NFL Draft is just days away. In the final week of speculation, many mock draft experts are starting to put out their final mocks. SB Nation's Dan Kadar doesn't have a final one out yet, but he did release his Monday update.

In this version, Kadar has the St. Louis Rams taking North Carolina Tar Heels OG Jonathan Cooper with the 16th pick:

The Rams will likely see Tavon Austin come off the board before they pick. That leaves them to decide between another wide receiver, a safety or a guard like Cooper. If he happens to slip this far, the Rams should pounce. He's a very athletic blocker that will only get better.

It's no secret that the Rams are targeting a receiver in the first round, and the latest rumor is that Austin is one of the guys they covet. Unfortunately, Austin is off the board in this mock. Luckily for the Rams, they have a second first-round pick and could use it to grab the other receiver they want at No. 22: Clemson Tigers WR DeAndre Hopkins:

If the Rams don't take a wide receiver with the 16th pick in the draft, there's a strong chance they choose one here. With Patterson and Austin off the board, the Rams could look at Hopkins. A sure-handed outside receiver, Hopkins would be a good target for Sam Bradford.

Hopkins doesn't have the upside of Austin or Cordarrelle Patterson, but he has some of the best hands and route running of any receiver in this class, and has the best chance to make an immediate impact in 2013.

The Rams have committed the offseason to giving Sam Bradford real weapons to work with. Adding Cooper and Hopkins would be major improvements for the fourth-year quarterback.

With two first-round picks, which positions will St. Louis target for high-level help?

The St. Louis Rams, by virtue of trading the second overall pick in last year's draft to the Washington Redskins, have two first-round selections in 2013. Mock drafts concerning the Rams are far from unanimous, as the team could be eyeing a few different needs to address first come next Thursday night.

Sports Illustrated's Don Banks, in his latest mock draft on Wednesday, sees them beginning by adding the explosive West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin with the 16th overall pick to boost their lackluster receiving corps. Banks writes that, if Austin is still available, it shouldn't take the Rams long to make the call:

No more calls, we have a winner. If the Rams somehow find Austin still waiting for them at No. 16, they'll show Austin-like speed hustling that selection up to podium (yes, I know they're actually called in, just work with me here). Again, the key to this pick may be the Bucs and Jets swinging their long-debated Revis deal. Because if Tampa Bay keeps its pick at No. 13, Austin could very well be the Bucs' X-factor weapon in 2013.

SB Nation's Dan Kadar lists Austin as the third-rated wideout in this year's draft. In 2012, Austin caught 114 passes for 1,289 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Mountaineers.

St. Louis next picks at No. 22, and Banks projects them to go defense this time by selecting Texas Longhorns safety Kenny Vaccaro, the draft's top safety in Kadar's position rankings. Banks believes that getting Vaccaro at this spot would be a pretty good steal for the Rams. Vaccaro posted 96 total tackles, two interceptions, 3.5 tackles for loss, five passes broken up and two forced fumbles for the Longhorns in 2012.

For comparison, in his latest mock draft, SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn thinks the Rams will go with North Carolina offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper at No. 16, then Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins with the 22nd overall pick.

St. Louis has two picks and is likely to upgrade their offense after losing key pieces this offseason.

In the latest SB Nation NFL mock draft, Matthew Fairburn has the St. Louis Rams selecting North Carolina Tar Heels guard Jonathan Cooper and Clemson Tigers wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins with the No. 16 and 22 picks, respectively.

The Rams are trying to fortify their offensive line this offseason and took a big step towards doing so when they signed left tackle Jake Long to a five-year deal. By drafting Cooper, St. Louis would really be upgrading the interior of the line, giving Sam Bradford ample time to make plays.

At 6'2 and 310 pounds, Cooper is a beast in the run game and also has the quickness to get to the second level.

With Hopkins, the Rams are getting perhaps the most underrated player in the draft. Hopkins have great size at 6'1 and 215 pounds and put together an amazing year in 2012.

Hopkins hauled in 82 passes for 1,405 yards and scored an astounding 18 touchdowns. St. Louis would be getting its first young, playmaking receiver since Torry Holt.

The Rams have plenty of draft picks to play with in the early rounds, and SB Nation's latest mock has them adding much-needed pieces to the offense.

The St. Louis Rams are in a good position in the 2013 NFL Draft. They hold two first round picks thanks to last year's RGIII trade, and many expect them to upgrade both the offensive line and secondary.

SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn released a three-round mock draft on Monday. In it, he has the Rams taking Texas S Kenny Vaccaro with the 16th pick, both to address a need and stymie the teams picking behind them:

The Rams need to address safety early, and with the Cowboys and the Bengals picking behind them, this is the best spot to do it. Kenny Vaccaro is a flawed prospect in some ways, but his athleticism is such that he could be an immediate weapon is used properly.

With the 22nd pick, St. Louis selects Alabama OT D.J. Fluker:

I know the Rams have been pegged for a wide receiver with one of their first-round picks in nearly every mock draft, but D.J. Fluker would help round out the rebuild of St. Louis' offensive line. Plus, day two should be filled with capable wide receivers.

It's a solid strategy for the wide receiver class this year. Indeed, in the second round the Rams end up with a quality WR, Tennessee's Justin Hunter:

The Rams missed out on wide receivers in the first round but still wind up with a wide receiver with a high ceiling in Justin Hunter.

Check out Fairburn's complete mock draft at the link below.

St. Louis, with two first round picks, is predicted to address both sides of the ball in a couple of recent mock drafts.

The St. Louis Rams, by virtue of their swap with the Washington Redskins a year ago, have two first round picks in the 2013 NFL Draft, Nos. 16 and 22, respectively. In two recent mock drafts, the positions they're targeting are similar, but the names are different.

Sports Illustrated's Don Banks unveiled his mock draft 4.0 on Wednesday, and began with the Rams taking junior Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson with the 16th overall selection. Patterson caught 46 passes for 778 yards and five touchdowns in 2012; he is the fourth-rated wideout in Matthew Fairburn's position rankings for SB Nation.

At No. 22, Banks sees St. Louis going with Florida Gators junior safety Matt Elam. Here's Banks on why a safety like Elam is a better pick than a defensive tackle or running back:

The Rams have plenty of good options here, like taking a top-15 defensive tackle in Missouri's Sheldon Richardson or pulling the trigger on running back Eddie Lacy of Alabama. But Elam carries a first-round grade and meets an obvious need. St. Louis would do well to just keep stacking bricks and build a foundation that's going to be around for quite some time.

For SB Nation, on the other hand, Dan Kadar's latest mock draft from Monday has the Rams addressing the same two position groups but in the opposite order.

With the 16th pick, Kadar sees St. Louis selecting Texas Longhorns safety Kenny Vaccaro (scouting report here). His ability to effectively play against both the run and pass being major reasons why the Rams would be interested in the early entrant.

Next, Kadar thinks the Rams will add Clemson Tigers wideout DeAndre Hopkins (scouting report), his top-rated prospect at the position, to their receiving corps with the No. 22 pick. Hopkins caught 82 passes for 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2012, and would help a St. Louis team in dire need of a true No. 1 receiver to pair with quarterback Sam Bradford.

SB Nation's latest mock draft has the Rams taking Kenny Vaccaro and DeAndre Hopkins with their first round picks.

With the NFL Draft less than a month away, the St. Louis Rams still sit in a great position with two first-round picks. They could upgrade their secondary and grab a productive receiver to replace Danny Amendola -- and some draft experts have them doing just that.

More: Turf Show Times

SB Nation's Dan Kadar released his latest mock draft on Monday. He has the Rams taking Texas S Kenny Vaccaro with the 16th overall pick:

With Dallas and Cincinnati picking behind them, the Rams may not want to risk losing out on Vaccaro. He's an excellent coverage safety that can drop back in zone or press the slot. A wide receiver will get consideration, but there will be one out there with the 22nd pick. Vaccaro may not be.

And with the 22nd overall pick, St. Louis' gambit pays off in Kadar's mock, nabbing Clemson WR DeAndre Hopkins:

See how this works out? If the Rams go after a safety at 16, they don't have to worry about the position drying out by pick 22. In our last mock, they went wide receiver at 16 and Vaccaro and Cyprien were gone by 22 so we pushed Eddie Lacy into this spot. In this scenario, the Rams could take the best available wide receiver. Hopkins is our top wide out this year, and he's a dangerous outside receiver.

Tavon Austin and Keenan Allen are other possibilities for the Rams if they're available at either of these two spots.

Not many experts are predicting upsets in this week's Sweet 16 round.

The NCAA Tournament continues on Thursday with the Sweet 16 round. After an exciting, unpredictable first weekend, there aren't expected to be many upsets this time around. However, predictable basketball doesn't automatically mean boring basketball, and there are a ton of interesting matchups in play on Thursday and Friday.

CBS' panel of experts is unanimous in most of their predictions. All four pundits have Miami, Louisville, Michigan, Duke and Florida moving on to the Elite Eight. Matt Norlander is the only one who thinks Syracuse can upset No. 1 seed Indiana.

There's a bit more dissent in Thursday's nightcap. Norlander and Gary Parrish both have the Wichita St. Shockers defeating the La Salle Explorers, while Jeff Goodman and Jeff Borzello picked La Salle to pull off the win.

Elsewhere, Norlander and Goodmand picked Arizona, and Parrish and Borzello have Ohio St. moving on.
