The St. Louis Cardinals got back to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon with a 8-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies at Busch Stadium. St. Louis avoided the four-game series sweep by getting to Phillies ace Roy Halladay early before the veteran exited after the second inning with shoulder soreness. After Molina provided the four spot in the first inning, the Cards tacked on three more runs in the fifth inning and one in the sixth to secure the win. St. Louis Cardinals center fielder Jon Jay is traveling to the team's spring training complex on Sunday with a scheduled batting practice for Monday, as Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. If the live batting practice goes well, Jay will likely be assigned to one of the team's minor league affiliates for rehab soon.

Jon Jay is headed to Florida this evening to join the campus there for BP tomorrow and could begin a rehab assignment soon after #STLcards
