The St. Louis Blues play the Avalanche and Blackhawks this weekend.
The St. Louis Blues surge into the weekend after winning their last four games. The winning streak has rocketed the Blues up the Western Conference playoff standings. At 14-8-2 with 30 points, the Blues now sit in fifth in the West.
St. Louis' winning streak started with a November 23 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins and was continued Tuesday with a 2-1 win over the Washington Capitals.
The Blues play twice this weekend.
Friday December 2 @ Colorado
Colorado enters the contest 11-13-1 after a huge 6-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday.The Avs remain very beatable, though. Goalie Semyon Varlamov has struggled this year, posting a goals against average over 3.00 on the season.
Saturday December 3 Vs. Chicago
The Blackhawks were defeated by Phoenix 4-1 last we saw them. Chicago enters the weekend with 31 points, one point ahead of St. Louis in the Western Conference standings.
