Blues Vs. Oilers Final Score: St. Louis Topples Edmonton 5-2

The St. Louis Blues secured their fourth straight victory on Wednesday night by going into Edmonton and defeating the Oilers 5-2. The win moves the Blues to 40-17-7 (87 points) overall, while Edmonton falls to 25-32-6.

St. Louis would race out to a 3-0 lead in the second period after forward Andy McDonald scored his second goal of the night off feeds from T.J. Oshie and Kevin Shattenkirk. Edmonton answered back with back-to-back goals to put the game at 3-2, but St. Louis took control in the third.

Shattenkirk scored a power play goal three minutes into the third period off assists from Alex Pietrangelo and Jason Arnott. Five minutes later, Chris Stewart connected on a penalty shot to make it 5-2, which is how the game would end.
