Blues Vs. Canucks Score Update: St. Louis, Vancouver In Scoreless Tie After Two Periods

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks are locked up in a scoreless tie after two periods at Rogers Arena on Thursday night. In an anticipated match-up between two of the NHL's top teams this season, fans have been treated to a defensive battle between two high-quality defensive teams.

So far this season, the Blues have been tops in the NHL in allowing the fewest goals per game, and they've continued that trend against a talented Canucks team. However, St. Louis hasn't been able to score at all either, so both teams go into the final period without a goal.

After two periods, each team has had two power play opportunities apiece. St. Louis has a 22-18 advantage in terms of shots on goal, but both the Blues' Brian Elliott and the Canucks' Roberto Luongo have been perfect in the net. At the moment, Vancouver has lost two games in a row, so getting a win against St. Louis would be huge.
