Albert Pujols Rumors: Pujols Considering Offers In Excess Of $200 Million From 3 Teams, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

According to a report from USA Today's Bob Nightengale, Albert Pujols has three 10-year contract offers worth more than $200 million. The Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals are responsible for two of those offers; the third belongs to a mystery team.

Pujols, who could announce his decision as early as Wednesday, has offers from the St. Louis Cardinals, Florida Marlins and a third team that has publicly declined to be identified. Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak confirmed his club increased its offer to Pujols late Tuesday, his first offer in nine months.

The Chicago Cubs apparently are not the mystery team, as Nightengale indicates their offer to Pujols is not a 10-year deal.
