Jon Jay Injury: MRI Reveals No Damage To Right Shoulder; Outfielder Will Not Play On Monday

St. Louis Cardinals centerfielder Jon Jay sprained his right shoulder in a collision with the wall last Thursday and while an MRI revealed no serious damage to the shoulder, Jay is going to sit out Monday night's game against the Cubs.

In 12 games this season, Jay is hitting .349/.391/.535 with two home runs and four RBI. Monday's game will be the fourth consecutive game the outfielder has had to miss while resting his shoulder.
