Cardinals Vs. Dodgers Score Update: Dodgers Up 3-0 After Big Second Inning

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Lance Lynn has been just about unhittbale so far this season, but the Los Angeles Dodgers got to him early on Friday night, putting up three runs in the second inning en route to a 3-0 lead.

The inning got going for the Dodgers when ex-Cardinal Adam Kennedy doubled to right field. L.A. first baseman James Loney followed that up with a double of his own, giving the Dodgers their first run of the night. Catcher A.J. Ellis then singled to left to bring Loney in, and that was followed up by a triple from the light hitting Tony Gwynn Jr., who tripled to right field.

Lynn would get out of the inning after striking pitcher Ted Lilly out and getting shortstop Dee Gordon to ground out to second base, but by then the damage had been done.
