The St. Louis Cardinals are in Houston for a three-game series against the Astros. Can they stay above .500?
The St. Louis Cardinals haven't been playing great baseball lately, and after a 20-11 start to the season they have slipped to just 28-27 overall. On Sunday the Cards dropped down to .500 for the first time all year, but with a win on Monday against the Mets they can stay over the break even mark as long as they beat the Houston Astros on Tuesday.
Despite low expectations and a lack of high-end talent, the Astros have been more than respectable at home this season. They sport a 17-12 record in Minute Maid Park, which is a stark contrast to their 23-31 mark overall. The Cardinals will send Jaime Garcia (3-3, 3.78 ERA) to the mound and Houston will counter will Lucas Harrell (4-4, 4.71 ERA).
Here is the game time and TV information for Tuesday's game:
Game Date & Time: Tuesday, June 5, 7:05 p.m. CT
Location: Minute Maid Park, Houston, TX
TV: Fox Sports Midwest
