Lance Lynn will try to get St. Louis back on track against Milwaukee at Miller Park on Monday night.

After being swept by the Cincinnati Reds, the St. Louis Cardinals will try to pick themselves up off the mat on Monday night when they get a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers underway.

Lance Lynn is on the mound for the Redbirds, undoubtedly good news for the fine folks of St. Louis. Lynn has been a sensation for the Cardinals, posting a 11-4 record with a 3.41 ERA.

The All-Star has only faced the Brewers once this season, all the way back on April 8 when he picked up his first win of the year. In that affair, Lynn pitched 6.2 innings and only yielded one run.

Opposing Lynn will be 27-year-old Michael Fiers. The righty has only appeared in eight games in 2012 (seven starts) but has looked good. Fiers has an ERA of just 2.31 and in his last outing, went 7.1 frames while surrendering just two runs in a loss.

If the Cardinals are to stay in the thick of the NL Central race, Monday night signifies a crucial game on the schedule.

TV: FS-Missouri

Time: 7:10 p.m. CST
