Rockies Vs. Cardinals Final Score: St. Louis' Bats Go Flat In 3-2 Loss

The St. Louis Cardinals didn't score after the first inning during a 3-2 loss at Busch Stadium to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. The Cards fall to 42-39 with the defeat, while Colorado moves to 31-49.

Matt Holliday's 14th home run of the season put St. Louis up until Tyler Colvin clubbed a three-run shot in the third inning. The Rockies wouldn't get a hit after the fourth inning, but it didn't matter as the Cards were unable to get a run across the plate to tie the game.

St. Louis starter Joe Kelly fell to 1-1 after allowing five hits, three runs (two earned) and four walks over six innings.
