Cardinals Vs. Astros Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Cardinals head into a three-game home series against the Houston Astros needing some wins to make a push for the NL Wild Card. Since the Astros have the worst record in the majors and a miserable 12-48 record on the road, this is an opportunity the Cardinals cannot afford to squander.

St. Louis will face Houston nine more times this season. This is the Astros' first visit to St. Louis on the year. The two teams split six games in Houston.

Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright (11-10) will be looking to win his sixth straight start in the series opener on Tuesday. Lucas Harrell (10-8) will take the mound for the Astros.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. CT at Busch Stadium. It can be seen on Fox Sports Midwest.
