Detroit Lions Score In Final Minute Of Second Half, Rams Trail 24-6.

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Rams’ excellent defense has been nowhere to be found this afternoon—with a minute and a half left in the first half the Detroit Lions appeared to march downfield to score another touchdown, stretching their first half lead to 24-6.

Shaun Hill’s 26 yard touchdown pass to Calvin Johnson was reversed, but the Rams’ defense was unable to do anything with its new lease on life. After a 17-yard reception by Kevin Smith, Hill connected for three yards with Brandon Pettigrew to push the lead back to 24-6, which is where it sits at halftime.
