NFL Injuries: Steven Jackson (Groin) Misses Thursday's Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson missed his second straight practice Thursday, still suffering from a groin injury that knocked him out of the Rams’ week three victory against the Washington Redskins.

Jackson’s backups, Kenneth Darby and Keith Toston, have been a source of significant fan concern all season. On Tuesday the Rams made their first move to shore up depth, plucking Chauncey Washington from the New York Jets’ practice squad.
