The good news is that the St. Louis Rams offense finally found its stride in midfield—in every way that counted but one, Week 6's performance against the Green Bay Packers was their best of the season. Sam Bradford threw for 321 yards on 44 attempts, Steven Jackson rushed 18 times for 96 yards, and Greg Salas and Danario Alexander had breakout games for the Rams' beleaguered receiving corps. The bad news was that for all 424 total yards—all 22 first downs—the Rams scored just three points, sputtering their way to a 24-3 loss against the Green Bay Packers in the strangest way imaginable. 

Aaron Rodgers threw for three touchdowns on 310 yards of his own, making the final step the Rams have proven unable to take all year once they reach the red zone. 

The Rams once again dealt with crucial drops, poor playcalling and execution on fourth downs, and tentative play in the red zone. Josh Brown missed a field goal and the defense couldn't keep Jordy Nelson from making a 93-yard play for a touchdown in the second quarter. In some ways it was the most heartening 24-3 loss a team could have, but at 0-5 the Rams have run out of slack on moral victories—they need to start winning the ones that count, and now.
