While the St. Louis Rams were able to sneak by the Cleveland Browns for the 13-12 victory, the injuries continued to pile up for a team that has lost numerous key contributors over the first 10 weeks of the season. According to the St. Louis Rams Twitter page, it seems likely that CB Al Harris and TE Mike Hoomanawanui will both miss the rest of the season after suffering injuries in the win over Cleveland:
@STLouisRams: TE Mike Hoomanawanui and CB Al Harris have significant knee injuries. Spagnuolo expects to lose both for the season.
The loss of Harris will be especially difficult for the Rams to deal with, as the secondary has already been depleted because of injury. If he is forced to miss the remainder of the season, Harris will join Bradley Fletcher, Ron Bartell and Jerome Murphy on the IR.
Hoomanawanui has battled injuries throughout his career, which has really slowed the progress of the talented TE. Hommanawanui has played in only 15 games in his two year career, with a multitude of injuries sidelining him.
Stay tuned to Turf Show Times, SB Nation's St. Louis Rams blog, for more injury updates following the win.

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Brandon Lloyd hasn't had a great year, particularly by the standards that he set last season. A journeyman for most of his career, Lloyd broke out last year with 77 catches, 1448 yards and 11 touchdowns receiving, but he was traded to the Rams earlier this season due to concerns that the Broncos wouldn't be able to retain him long-term.
With Rams quarterback Sam Bradford battling injuries recently, Lloyd hasn't had the opportunity to really develop a connection with his new quarterback, so it's been an adjustment period for both of them. The former Bronco continued his track record of solid games in a Rams uniform on Sunday, though, taking in four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.
St. Louis didn't have a big day through the air on Sunday against a pretty solid Cleveland pass defense, but Lloyd was the team's leading receiver. The yardage numbers aren't gaudy, but he did take in a touchdown, and that's something we haven't seen nearly enough from Lloyd this season.
He also made a couple of beautiful catches against the Browns that you can see here. Once both he and Bradford get settled in, you could see Lloyd put up some pretty good numbers in the second half of this season.

For a moment there, it seemed like Sam Bradford would need to lead an impressive two-minute drill for the St. Louis Rams to have any chance of winning. That was before Cleveland Browns kicker Phil Dawson missed a 22-yard field goal with just over two minutes left in the game, allowing the Rams to hold onto a 13-12 lead and beat the Browns on Sunday afternoon.
Down 12-10 going into the fourth quarter, Cleveland made a major mistake when punt returner Joshua Cribbs fumbled the ball. The Rams recovered the ball at Cleveland's 27-yard line, and got close enough for kicker Josh Brown to knock in a 34-yard field goal. That put St. Louis up 13-12 with just under eight minutes to go in the game.
That when the Browns began a drive that looked like it could be the game-winner, at least for the first nine plays. The Rams handed Cleveland exceptional field position when Brown popped the kickoff out of bounds, handing the Browns the ball at their own 40-yard line. After a couple of solid plays got Cleveland to the St. Louis 39, a horse collar tackle penalty by the Rams pushed Cleveland into the red zone.
After a series of running plays, Cleveland got the ball down to the Rams' 4-yard line with just over two minutes left in the game. Stuck at fourth-and-4, the Browns called on kicker Phil Dawson to push through his fifth field goal of the day. It seemed like pretty much a lock from just 22 yards out. Dawson was a perfect 4-for-4 on his first four opportunities of the day, all of them longer than 22 yards. Coming into this game, he was 100-for-104 (roughly 96% efficiency) on kicks from inside 30 yards during his career.
And then he missed it, wide left. The Rams took possession of the ball at the Browns' 20, got a first down on a couple of strong runs from Steven Jackson and called it a game. It may not have been a pretty win, as the Browns had more yardage, less turnovers, less penalties and more time of possession, but the Rams got things done when it counted, and now they have a second win on the season.

The Cleveland Browns still haven't scored a touchdown in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, but they've managed to take a 12-10 lead following kicker Phil Dawson's fourth field goal of the day.
Essentially the entire third quarter was scoreless, until the Browns completed an 8-play, 68-yard drive with a 27-yard field goal by Dawson with just 37 seconds left in the quarter. The Browns kicker is a perfect 4-for-4 on field goal attempts, so Cleveland hasn't really wasted opportunities outside of its inability to get into the end zone.
The Rams got a bit of a scare in that quarter, too, as quarterback Sam Bradford spent a couple minutes on the bench of being shaken up on a rough hit. Back-up A.J. Feeley made a quick appearance in the game before Bradford returned, presumably to a collective sigh of relief from the Rams' fan base. It hasn't been a great day in general for him, as he's 14-for-25 for 148 yards and a touchdown at the moment, but he's also thrown an interception as well.

The St. Louis Rams are holding onto the lead by a thread in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, as they're up 10-9 going into halftime. The two teams have alternated scoring drives all game, although the Browns are still waiting to get into the end zone.
Cleveland took a 3-0 lead midway through the first quarter, and the Rams responded by scoring a touchdown on the first play of the second quarter. The Browns then trimmed the lead to 7-6 with another field goal before the teams traded field goals late in the second quarter to put us at the current score.
As expected, Steven Jackson's had an exceptional day facing the Browns' defense. Cleveland has one of the worst rush defenses in the league, and the Rams' star has responded by rushing for 71 yards on his first 13 carries of the game, good for 5.5 yards per carry. Quarterback Sam Bradford started off strong but didn't play nearly as well down the stretch, throwing an interception late in the second quarter that led to one of Cleveland's three field goals.
Browns quarterback Colt McCoy is having a big day. The second-year pro was 13-for-19 for 152 yards passing in the first half, although he couldn't lead his team to a touchdown.

The St. Louis Rams are leading the Cleveland Browns as they play on Sunday afternoon. That's the good news. There's bad news, though, and it's that cornerback Al Harris has sustained an injury and won't return for the rest of the game. The veteran injured his right knee early in the game, and the team is reporting now that he won't be able to return.
Harris, 37, joined the Rams before this season. He appeared in all eight games, making four starts, although he never intercepted a pass or recorded a sack. Once one of the best cornerbacks in the game, Harris has felt the effects of old age, especially on his playing time. Harris never missed a single game over the first ten seasons of his career, but he played in just 25 games from 2008 through 2010.
The Rams also announced that safety Darian Stewart, who injured his head in Sunday's game, is a questionable return. They may be cautious and hold him out.

The St. Louis Rams were losing when the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Rams concluded, but they quickly gained the lead on the first play of the second quarter. Quarterback Sam Bradford connected with wide receiver Brandon Lloyd on a seven-yard touchdown pass to complete a 10-play, 69-yard drive.
It's been a solid day for the Rams so far. They trailed early after giving up a 44-yard field goal to kicker Phil Dawson, but the offense has been churning and the Browns haven't been able to get their running game going yet. Bradford's looked particularly solid so far, connecting on 6 of 9 passes for 74 yards and the aforementioned touchdown pass. He's already hooked up with Lloyd three times today, including this beauty of a catch:
That 24-yard beauty was part of the big drive that's put St. Louis ahead. Rams fans have to be excited about the possibility of Bradford and Lloyd getting the team's passing offense going. Here's video of the Lloyd touchdown catch, too:

Though numberFire.com's projections for Rams QB Sam Bradford aren't too hot, WR Brandon Lloyd is still a good choice for a starting wide receiver in Week 10. numberFire is projecting Lloyd as the No. 22 overall receiver on Sunday, which makes him a solid WR2 for any team.
Though the Rams should use Steven Jackson heavily today, Lloyd should get the most targets of any Rams pass catcher, and that should equal a pretty decent day for fantasy owners. Lloyd has 17 catches since joining the Rams in Week 7, which is the most on the team over that time period. The team did activate WR Mark Clayton today, but that shouldn't cut into Lloyd's production that much.

It's been a bit of a rough sophomore year in fantasy for Rams QB Sam Bradford, and don't expect that to change much in Week 10 vs. the Cleveland Browns. numberFire.com has Bradford projected as the No. 28 quarterback for Sunday's games, and he should only be started in an emergency situation, if at all.
The problems here are two-fold. One, the Browns have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, so it should be expected that the Rams will lean on Steven Jackson early and often on Sunday. Secondly, Bradford just hasn't had a great year in fantasy, finishing three games with under 100 yards passing and putting up only three touchdowns on the entire season. If you have any other quarterback on your bench today, go with him.

The St. Louis Rams will head into their Week 10 match up vs. the Cleveland Browns missing some key offensive parts. Wide receiver Danario Alexander will miss his third straight game of the season with a hamstring injury, and he'll be joined on the sidelines by starting RT Jason Smith (head) and starting TE Lance Kendricks (foot).
Rounding out the Rams inactive list is LB Josh Hull (hamstring), LB Bryan Kehl (ankle) and RB Jerious Norwood (hamstring). According to 590 The Fan's Richard Balzer, the Rams have activated WR Mark Clayton from the PUP list, which will give the Rams offense a needed lift. He is also reporting that with Hull and Kehl out today, the Rams have activated backup LB David Nixon, who St. Louis just signed this week.

Despite a "sore foot" that had Steven Jackson on the injury report for the good part of the week leading up to the St. Louis Rams' Week 10 match up vs. the Cleveland Browns, he will start in Cleveland and is a must start for fantasy owners. numberFire.com has Jackson projected as the ninth overall running back, and there are a few factors pointing towards Jackson having a big day.
One is that Rams' QB Sam Bradford is still dealing with the aftermath of a sprained ankle that forced him to miss two games this season, so Jackson will likely get a bulk of the work on offense. Secondly, Jackson is coming off his two biggest games of the season, having rushed for 159 yards and two scores in Week 8 vs. the New Orleans Saints and 130 yards in Week 9 vs. the Arizona Cardinals. The last factor is that the Browns currently have the third worst rushing defense in the NFL, which must have Jackson licking his chops.

The St. Louis Rams have released Friday's injury report via their official Twitter account:
@STLouisRams: Official injury report: Out-WR Danario Alexander (hamstring),TE Lance Kendricks (foot),RB Jerious Norwood (hamstring),T Jason Smith (head).
@STLouisRams: Questionable: LB Josh Hull (hamstring), QB Sam Bradford (ankle), LB Bryan Kehl (ankle), DE Eugene Sims (shoulder), DE James Hall (knee).
@STLouisRams: Probable: DE C.J. Ah You (calf), DT Darell Scott (head), RB Steven Jackson (foot), DT Gary Gibson (hip), S Darian Stewart (ankle).
Most notable on the injury report is RB Steven Jackson, but Rams fans have little to worry about their star running back as the Rams have confirmed he should be able to play this Sunday:
@STLouisRams: RB Steven Jackson has been on injury report with a sore foot. Team took precaution this week but he too is fine and ready for Sunday.
Rams QB Sam Bradford appears to be ready to play also, though he was limited in practice this week and is still listed as probable.
The other notable injuries include starting DE James Hall, who got a sack/safety combo in last week's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, who appears unlikely to play, and starting right tackle Jason Smith, who has already been ruled out.

Quarterback Sam Bradford was limited in practice again on Thursday, splitting time with backup AJ Feeley, but head coach Steve Spagnuolo had some encouraging words afterward:
QB Sam Bradford (ankle) did more work on Thursday and appears to be progressing according to Spagnuolo.

The St. Louis Rams (1-7) continue to prepare for their Week 10 matchup against the Cleveland Browns (3-5) on Sunday, but it appears that second-year QB Sam Bradford may still be dealing with the high ankle sprain that kept him out of action earlier this year.
CBS Sports is reporting that Bradford is expected to start on Sunday, but the coaching staff wanted to make sure he did not rush back into full practice, so he is splitting snaps with backup quarterback A.J. Feeley. Bradford resumed his starting role last week, passing for 255 yards and an interception on his way to a 73.3 passer rating and a 13-19 overtime loss to the Cardinals.
On the Browns' injury report, the numbers continue to stack up. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, a total of seven Browns players missed practice today, including:
... running backs Montario Hardesty (calf) and Peyton Hillis (hamstring), wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi (sent home with symptoms from concussion suffered Oct. 23), cornerback Dimitri Patterson (knee), strong safety T.J. Ward (foot/finger), free safety Usama Young (hip) and kicker Phil Dawson (sent home with migraine).
Cardinals fans should expect Phil Dawson to be fine by Sunday, but the remainder -- including the dynamic trio of Mantario Hardesty, Peyton Hillis and Mohamed Massaquoi -- have a smaller shot at playing on Sunday, which could play heavily in the Rams' favor.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch broke the news Wednesday night that the St. Louis Rams will bench starting center Jason Brown for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Since signing with the Rams as a free agent in 2009, Brown has started every game with the team, but with the offensive line struggling as a unit Brown will now take a seat on the bench. As Brown's 84-game starting streak ends, Tony Wragge will replace him in the starting lineup.
Although Thomas argues that Brown has "consistently graded out among the team's highest offensive linemen," in his article, Ryan Van Bibber at Turf Show Times (SB Nation's St. Louis Rams blog) believes the team is making the right move. In fact, Van Bibber has some interesting insight and some statistics to back up his argument.
No official reason for the move has been given by the team as of this moment, but make sure to check back with SB Nation St. Louis for more updates.

The St. Louis Rams are going to Cleveland to play the Browns this weekend, and they won't be doing so at anything near full strength. Injuries have been a constant issue for the Rams all season long, an experience that they actually share with the injury-riddled Browns. Just like Cleveland, the Rams listed 13 different players on their injury report for Wednesday's practices. That list can be found here, but it's shown below.
- WR Danario Alexander
- OT Jason Smith
- RB Jerious Norwood
- TE Lance Hendricks
- LB Josh Hull
- LB Bryan Kehl
- DE Eugene Sims
- QB Sam Bradford
- RB Steven Jackson
- DE C.J. Ah You
- DT Gary Gibson
- DT Darell Scott
- S Darian Stewart
It's a long list, and every single player listed either didn't participate on Wednesday or participated on a limited basis. The big names are primarily on offense, Bradford, Jackson, Alexander and Smith,

The St. Louis Rams lost one of their key wide receivers earlier this week when it was determined that rookie Greg Salas would miss the remainder of the season with a broken leg, but they're getting another one back now that the team has moved wideout Mark Clayton onto the active roster.
Clayton, 29, was one of the Rams' key receivers early in the 2010 season before going down with a knee injury that eventually required surgery. The team placed him on the physically unable to perform list at the beginning of the season, but he's been practicing for a few weeks now.
The Rams had to decide on Wednesday whether to activate Clayton and place him on the roster or place him on the injured reserve for the rest of the season, and ultimately they chose the former. The team wasn't clear in stating whether he would play against the Cleveland Browns this weekend, but Bradley appears to be preparing as if he will.

The Cleveland Browns are hosting the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, but don't expect them to be near full strength when that day comes around. Injuries have hounded Cleveland all season long, and it really just takes one glance at the injury report to get that vibe. The full list can be found here, but it's shown below for your viewing pleasure.
- RB Peyton Hillis
- RB Montario Hardesty
- WR Mohamed Massaquoi
- DL Auston English
- DB Dimitri Patterson
- DB D.J. Ward
- DB Usama Young
- LB Kaluka Malava
- DL Jayme Mitchell
- OL Tony Pashos
- DB Ray Ventrone
- LB Quinton Spears
- P Brad Maynard
It's a pretty long list. The biggest name is obviously Hillis, and the Browns haven't really had him healthy all season long. Expect the Browns to be missing a few players against St. Louis this week, as usual for this season.
For more on Sunday's game, check out Turf Show Times, SB Nation's St. Louis Rams blog, and Dawgs By Nature, SB Nation's Cleveland Browns blog.

The St. Louis Rams visit the Cleveland Browns on Sunday as they aim to win their second game of the 2011 season.
