NFL injury report: Rams suffer only minor injuries against Packers

Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE

Trumaine Johnson and Eugene Sims suffered injuries against the Green Bay Packers.

Nobody major was knocked out and no season-ending injuries seemed to come up, but the St. Louis Rams did lose a couple of players to minor knocks during their 30-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Rookie cornerback Trumaine Johnson was the first player out for the Rams. As they attempted an onside kick in the first quarter, he was flipped over and forced to leave the game with what the team said was a hip injury. After spending a large chunk of time on the sideline, he was able to return to the game in the third quarter on special teams play.

The team lost defensive end Eugene Sims in the second quarter to a knee injury, and he did not return after leaving the field to take medical tests.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola, linebacker Mario Haggan and tackle Roger Saffold were all listed as 'out' on the Rams injury list prior to the Packers game.
