Danario Alexander gains 61 yards in Chargers debut

Danario Alexander, whose chronic knee and hamstring problems torpedoed a frustrating career with the St. Louis Rams, was the San Diego Chargers' emergency starter at wide receiver after injuries to Eddie Royal and Robert Meacham left them shorthanded for their Thursday Night affair with the Kansas City Chiefs. And—unsurprisingly, to Rams fans who have become disillusioned with this kind of thing—he was actually pretty great, catching three balls for 61 yards on four targets.
