The Rams will see with the rest of the league Wednesday which of their players -- if any -- are headed to the Pro Bowl.
The St. Louis Rams, despite a surprisingly good season, aren't going to the postseason at 7-7-1. But some of their players could still see action after Sunday's Week 17 tilt with the Seattle Seahawks if they're selected to the Pro Bowl. Fans will learn their favorite players' all-star fate Wednesday, when the NFL Network announces the NFC and AFC rosters live.
The selection show begins at 6 p.m. CT. Cornerbacks Janoris Jenkins and Cortland Finnegan have been huge bright spots for the Rams, and their seasons could be rewarded with a trip to Hawaii. They'd likely need help from the votes from the league's players and coaches, because they -- like the rest of the Rams -- were mostly shut out in the fan vote.
In fact, only two Rams were in the top five at their positions in the fan vote, as Mike Sando of ESPN.com writes. Finnegan and kicker Greg Zuerlein each ranked third.
The Pro Bowl is set for Jan. 27.
