Monday is the first day that NFL teams can use their franchise tags, and while the Rams may have a decision or two of their own to make, they also may be keeping an eye on players on other teams that may or may not get tagged. Turf Show Times speculated over the weekend that if Tennessee Titans CB Cortland Finnegan isn't tagged, that he may be targeted by Jeff Fisher— who coached Finnegan in Tennessee— and the Rams, who have a need at corner.
So, will the Titans use the tag on Finnegan? SB Nation's Joel Thorman, in predicting which teams will use their 2012 franchise tags, believes that the Titans will use their tag on Finnegan if the two sides can't agree on a long term deal.
