2012 NFL Free Agency: Brandon Lloyd Signs With The New England Patriots

According to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network, the New England Patriots have reached a deal with free agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, reuniting the former Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams wide receiver with the former Broncos and Rams coach, Josh McDaniels:

In a 2011 season split with both the Rams and Broncos, Lloyd caught 70 passes for 966 yards and 5 touchdowns. Lloyd led the league in 2010 with 1448 receiving yards, his last full season in Josh McDaniel's offense.

The Rams traded for Lloyd during the 2011 NFL season, but with the departure of McDaniel's following the season's end, many anticipated Lloyd would follow him.
