St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola only played one game and only had five catches in the 2011 season, but that hasn't stopped St. Louis from valuing the receiver moving forward. The Rams announced today that Amendola will be tendered at a second round level as a restricted free agent.
Wide receiver Danny Amendola has been informed by the Rams that he will be tendered at a second-round level as a restricted free agent. Restricted free agents are players with three years NFL experience and expired contracts.
Amendola caught 85 passes for 689 yards and three touchdowns in 2010, his second season. Amendola suffered a season-ending elbow injury in Week 1 of last season.
