2012 NFL Mock Draft: Rams Take DT At No. 33 And CB At No. 39 In Wes Bunting's Round 2 Mock

The St. Louis Rams are stocked with high selections in the 2012 NFL Draft, but there are plenty of needs to fill as well. General manager Les Snead and head coach Jeff Fisher have plenty of work ahead of them to build a solid foundation on the offensive line, defensive line and in the secondary. With an eye towards the depth of the draft, Wes Bunting of the National Football Post created a two-round mock for the 2012 NFL Draft and has the Rams taking Washington Huskies DT Alameda Ta'amu at No. 33 and Central Florida CB Josh Robinson with their No. 39 overall pick acquired from the Washington Redskins.

Here's what Bunting had to say about Ta'amu at No. 33 overall:

This is the kind of guy who has the ability to anchor the middle of an NFL defense in either a 3-4 or 4-3 front. Needs to do a better job finding the football, but overall he looks like a starter who you eventually will be able to win with in the NFL.

Now his thoughts on Josh Robinson at No. 39:

Overall, Robinson is a talented corner. He's fluid, can really run and has the vertical speed to make up for a false step at the college level. He's also a guy who will tackle and isn't afraid to mix it up inside.
