The latest report from around the St. Louis Rams draft headquarters may indicate the Rams are leaning towards selecting WR Brian Quick from the Appalachian St. Mountaineers:
ESPN's Chris Mortensen on #Rams pick at 33: "I'm gonna throw out a name for you to think about: Brian Quick from Appalachian State."

If Quick goes at the No. 33 pick, he will officially break the record for the highest Appalachian State pick in NFL Draft history. According to Pro-Football Reference, 22 Mountaineers players have entered the NFL via the draft, but not have been taken higher than LB Dino Hackett with the No. 35 pick in 1986. In 2011, three Appalachian State players entered were drafted -- FS Mark LeGree, OL Daniel Kilgore and LB D.J. Smith -- all in the 5th and 6th rounds.
