2012 Draft Picks: Rams Address LB Needs In Round 7

Throughout the 2012 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams have seemingly addressed every hole on the roster. The Rams have added WR talent for Sam Bradford, drafted a backup RB for Steven Jackson and brought depth to the secondary and defensive line. However, the one area the Rams hadn't addressed prior to the 7th round was the LB position. This changed with the selection of Aaron Brown out of Hawaii.

Brown was a 1st team All-WAC selection as a senior. He finished second on the team with 103 tackles and recorded 4.5 sacks. Brown had some off the field troubles early in the season, as he was suspended for the season-opener because of misdemeanor assault charges.

This is the second consecutive year the Rams have drafted a player out of the University of Hawaii, as WR Greg Salas was selected in the 4th round last season.
