The St. Louis Rams got a lot done in the 2012 NFL Draft, but one big question remains for fans who have wide receivers and possible defensive cornerstones still to sift through: What did they do to keep Sam Bradford from being sacked 3.6 times per game next year?

The immediate answer: Not a whole lot. Despite having a shot at Riley Reiff or David DeCastro at No. 14, and Jonathan Martin with two of their three second round picks, the Rams passed on offensive linemen until they finally selected Rokevious Watkins late on the final day. Jeff Fisher's focus on defense prevailed, with Michael Brockers going as the first-rounder and Janoris Jenkins proving to be the big upside gamble.

Fisher and company might be hoping for improvement in other areas to solve the problem, or at least make it less pressing. Jason Smith and Rodger Saffold might recover from wildly disappointing seasons; a new, simpler offense will leave Bradford looking less like a sitting, thinking duck; a better receiving corps will help him throw with a little more abandon, and having Danny Amendola back will return his security blanket.
