Rams News 2012: Debate Over Janoris Jenkins' Financial Advisor Stalling Contract Talks With St. Louis, According To Report

The St. Louis Rams have yet to agree to terms on a contract with second round pick Janoris Jenkins, and one of the reasons for that is a disagreement over who should serve as Jenkins' financial advisor.

Jenkins, who played his final college season at North Alabama after being dismissed by Florida, and the Rams have yet to agree on a contract. Aside from typical issues regarding the payment of signing bonus money (the Rams want a significant deferral over the four years of the deal), there is a dispute over who will financially advise Jenkins.

Jeff Fisher and the Rams are pushing Jenkins to hire Lou Taylor of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group to manage the rookie's finances, but Jenkins has a group of advisors in place and has reservations about working with Taylor. The Rams, meanwhile, have concerns about that aforementioned group of advisors.
