Steven Jackson injury update: Running back listed as questionable

Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

St. Louis Rams starting running back Steven Jackson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a groin injury.

The St. Louis Rams could be without starting running back Steven Jackson when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Jackson has been hampered with a groin injury, however he did practice on a limited basis which is actually an improvement since he did not practice at all on Wednesday or Thursday.

Head coach Steve Fisher said after Thursday's practice that they will see how Jackson does during warm ups and then decide if he will be healthy enough to even play.

Last week, Jackson did sit out every practice but he still ended up playing against the Chicago Bears. In that game against the Bears, Jackson was limited with 11 carries for 29 yards, and that was somehow a team high for the Rams. If Jackson does play, he likely will be limited once again.

Then if Jackson is unable to play at all on Sunday then the carries would be shared between Isaiah Pead and Daryl Richardson.
