Rams Vs. Lions Score Update: Cortland Finnegan Pick-6 Gives St. Louis 13-10 Lead At Half

The St. Louis Rams lead the Detroit Lions, 13-10, after one half at Ford Field. Veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan gave St. Louis the lead when he picked off Matthew Stafford with under two minutes to play, taking it down the left sideline for an easy defensive touchdown. It was the third interception of the game for the Rams, as Finnegan left his man to jump in front of a sideline out-route.

The Lions scored the first touchdown of the game on their first possession of the second quarter, with reserve running back Joique Bell taking it up the middle from one-yard out. The touchdown capped a 14-play drive and momentarily gave the Lions a 7-3 lead.

In addition to the Finnegan pick-six, the Rams defense has come up big on two other red-zone occasions, picking off Stafford while the Lions were on the doorstep. Janoris Jenkins came up with the first pick on the Lions first drive of the game, forcing the turnover on the three-yard line. Linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar came up with the second red zone pick, jumping in front a Stafford pass to the left side and taking it back almost 30 yards to midfield. The Rams would take advantage of the second Lions turnover with another Greg Zuerlein field goal.

In limited time of possession, Sam Bradford is six of nine for 66 yards. Steven Jackson has carried the ball eight times for just 20 yards.
