Rams' Offensive Line Takes Hit: Setterstrom Could Miss Season

Rams Offensive Lineman Mark Setterstrom, who appeared in nine games last year and made three starts, could miss the entire 2010 season after a triceps injury that might require surgery. Setterstrom is no stranger to missed time; after opening 2007 as a starter he missed most of that season and all of 2008 with successive knee injuries.

Bill Coats of the Post-Dispatch reports that his 2010 season hinges on whether or not he opts for surgery to repair what has become a chronic problem:

Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Setterstrom, who had the same injury near the end of last season, so far had not made a decision about whether to have surgery or let the muscle try to heal on its own. If Setterstrom does opt for surgery, he probably would miss the 2010 season.

Since being chosen in the seventh round of the 2006 draft Setterstrom has made twelve starts for the Rams.
