NFL Preseason: Rams' Sam Bradford Not Afraid Of Shoulder

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford isn’t afraid of getting hit for the first time since shoulder injuries cut his illustrious college career short. The Post-Dispatch reports:

There was edginess to his answer Thursday on the subject during his last media session before the Minnesota game.

“It’s not a big deal to me,” Bradford said. “I mean, I don’t really know why people keep bringing it up. You know, it’s part of the game. I’ve taken hits all my life. It’ll be just another hit when I get hit on Saturday.”

Of course, ideally, they just don’t hit him very hard. Sam Bradford’s shoulder isn’t just a referendum on the quarterback’s health, it’s a referendum on the Rams’ young, untested offensive line. They’d better not give him the Marc Bulger treatment.
