At Turf Show Times they're covering one of the preseason rites of passage: player predictions. Yesterday afternoon they took a look at Laurent Robinson, the Rams' oft-injured starter-by-default. With the Rams' wide receivers getting surprisingly rave reviews over the last few days, it was both timely and a little more pleasant to consider than Predict The Rams' Offensive Line might have been.
↵In the comments section there were some highs—two people predicted Robinson would break the 1000 yard mark, the first Rams receiver to do it since Torry Holt's last Holtian season in 2007—and some lows. Commenters as a whole were as worried about predicting how many games Robinson would get into as they were what fantasy stats he'd put up in those games. And then—well, there was this projection, probably composed right after news of the first preseason game filtered in to commenter mh39:
↵↵↵5 catches 57 yards 0 tds all season

The rams will go thru more body bags for qbs this year than all our receivers total catches added together. Oh and he leads our team
Ladies and gentlemen, the St. Louis Rams!
