The St. Louis Rams signed former Mizzou wide receiver Danario Alexander on Sunday, ending several weeks' speculation on the subject that began when Alexander took in training camp as a visitor earlier this month.
Alexander led the FBS in receiving yards in 2009 with 1781. His 113 receptions ranked second in the Big 12. A February knee surgery caused him to fall off draft boards around the NFL, but this month's physical was apparently clean enough for the Rams to make an offer. The Seattle Seahawks were also rumored to be interested in the 6-foot-5 receiver.
