Sam Bradford is still without a particularly reliable wide receiver, but the St. Louis Rams nabbed him a deep threat on Labor Day, acquiring Mark Clayton from the Baltimore Ravens for a sixth round draft pick.
Clayton’s catch rate has always been poor—it fell to 46 percent in 2009—but at times the former first-rounder was an useful big-play lottery ticket for the Ravens, averaging 17.0 yards per completion in 2008. He’s also got some trick play experience to his name—over his career he’s caught 12 touchdown passes, run for two, and thrown one.
